Modified cut crease using mainly pencils

Let me start by saying...I am NOT a makeup artist. I would love to take classes and learn. But for now, I am just a mama who loves makeup and loves learning new techniques. :) But for other moms out there who aren't artists, but love makeup...these posts will be for you!

I really want to learn a cut crease technique. It takes me back to 90210 and seeing the actresses gorgeous cut crease looks....so matte....so gorgeous!

So I thought I would give it a try. This is modified, I did not cut the crease all the way and I smoked it out a bit. It's a little more forgiving that way. But here is what I did.

Pencil in Pristine (white) all over lid and blend

Shadow in Elated (palette 1) all over lid.

I took the pencil in Proper (dark brown) and drew a line through my crease.

Take your sponge brush and smudge this out

So the same with Perfect (black) (I didn't take it quite over as far as the brown)

Take your sponge brush, using Forthright (Palette 1) and smoke the corner just a smidge

Finish with Liquid liner in Perfect (black)

Apply mascara and done.

This is probably my favorite look I've done. I love the dark outer corner and the matte bright inner.

Let me know if you try this!
